About the campaign
For nearly 34 years, Iota Omicron Chapter has built leaders at Western Illinois. When we look back on our own experiences in the chapter, the countless memories and forged friendships remind us of the truly irreplaceable experience we share together. We will never forget our years as actives or the center of our brotherhood: our chapter house at 611 W. Adams.
While we each know the quality of our membership, our new chapter house at 830 N. Avery must reflect the strength of our chapter and keep our competitive edge. Evaluating the long-term needs of Iota Omicron and its members has been at the forefront of our minds with safety, academics, recruitment, and Rush being key focuses. Through careful assessment and discussion, your House Corp leadership has determined that a recapitalization of the Operating Funds, renovation, and growth of members residing in the House will be the best way to grow and regain our Top position in the Western Illinois fraternity system and meet the everchanging needs of today’s students.

This is a time to reflect on your Sigma Chi experience. Remember the impact this brotherhood made on you and imagine how this chapter will affect future brothers. Iota Omicron Chapter has been at the heart of Western Illinois’ Greek life and the Standard Bearer of the Midwest, and it’s because of the strength of our alumni that we have continued to thrive these past 33-plus years. It is our duty to honor our membership and invest in the future of Sigma Chi at Western Illinois.
